Gin & Jam

Jam is good on toast but ever used it in a cocktail? It’s a great way to incorporate fruits that aren’t in season PLUS, depending on the flavor, jams can make for some really exciting drinks.
In this video, I make a floral, unique cocktail that comes together in seconds. Get the recipe below and make your own version with whatever you have on hand.
ingredients
2 oz gin
1 oz (2 tablespoons) jam* - I’m using Trade Street Jam Company’s Plum and Rose Jam
1 oz fresh-squeezed lemon juice
½ oz liquid cane sugar (or simple syrup - 1:1 sugar and water)
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, fill with ice, and shake until chilled.
Strain into your glass.
*Jams vary in sweetness and tartness. Taste yours and adjust the sugar and the lemon juice accordingly!
